8B have been studying the subject of poverty in their RE lessons and decided that they would like to organise a fundraising activity for the charity Christian Aid. The pupils decided to wash cars and worked in groups to ask for staff volunteers who would be willing to have their car washed. To prepare for the event, the pupils washed cars at home.
The pupils certainly chose the right day to do their carwash – a beautiful sunny Tuesday! They worked well together in groups to wash the cars, taking time and care to make sure Mr Hardie’s was sparkling – well done 8B!
