The annual PTA Christmas Fayre will take place on Thursday 24th November 2016, 5pm until 7pm in the Septimus and Sports Hall. Last year we raised over £2000, and we would like to thank all who supported that event.
Last year the PTA donated over £4000 to subsidise whole school trips and events for all pupils, which helped to reduce the overall cost to parents and carers. Of course we must not forget that every pupil is offered a free Christmas lunch (drink and cracker) nor should we overlook the purchase of the Easter eggs for every member of the school community. Funds raised also help to maintain a hardship fund for the Academy, which benefits many of our more disadvantaged pupils.
This year there will be stalls with Christmas crafts, gifts and cards, jewellery, toys, sweets, cakes and more.
There will be a raffle and tombola, any donations for these will be gratefully appreciated.
Our wonderful choir and band will be performing throughout the event and this will get us all into the Christmas spirit. Festive refreshments and cakes will also be served.
