Minibus Fundraising Appeal Posted on: 17 Sep 2018
Mr Hardie would like to say a huge thank you to the parents, carers, students and ex-students who gave him a huge amount of vocal support during the Great North Run. He finished the race in 2 hours 18 minutes, a little slower than he’d hoped but it gives him something to aim for next year! The support from the crowds along the route was amazing and helped him to keep going when he was struggling in the last few miles.
We would also like to thank everyone who has made a donation towards the fundraising towards a replacement minibus on our Go Fund Me page https://www.gofundme.com/school-minubus-appeal. Students and staff will be taking part in a number of events during the school year to raise funds for a new minibus and some generous donations have got us off to a great start. Thank you to everyone who has donated to the appeal so far.
If parents/carers or students have any other ideas for ways in which we could raise further funds towards our very much needed minibus, then we would love to hear them.
