Whitburn Church of England Academy was excited to offer twenty of our pupils in Years 9 – 13 the opportunity to participate in a fantastic spray painting workshop with the street artist ‘Eyez’ and artist/curator ‘Fiztrovia’.
The workshop took place on Wednesday 19th October 2016 and examined how ‘CU’ was the registration plate identifier for cars from South Shields until the mid-70s’ but is now text shorthand for ‘see you’.
Pupils were then taught the basics of spray painting and the workshop culminated in spray painting Mrs Dembry’s car!
